This could not have come at a better time. It ties in perfectly with Facebook's popularity and the fact that not many Facebook users have discovered the shortcomings of the IE browser yet. This is definitely going to blow up all over the socialmediasphere .

I don't kow abou anyone else but part of surfin the internet is pictures. cant find the button to turn them on. You might make that a wee bit easier to find. Quasy...

This Facebook accelerator in IE-8 is an example of “mouse-based search” where you can search with only a mouse. A version of mouse-based search which I LOVE is KallOut at www.kallout.com It is specially tuned to Facebook so when you highlite a name in any application (including IE-8) it automatically pulls out the content from Facebook. Kallout already works over IE (the older versions) and Firefox (my favorite) as well as all of office. It’s really a killer application IMO for mouse-based search. What IE8 Beta really needs is a way for the application to automatically choose which accelerator you need to use for a given mouse-based search request. Just a random reader opinion, anyway.
