This is a really Fun sight. One is connectd to the Internet world. It is a plae where one can collect sights they like have a referance to pages they ddn't care for. Having any & all of the collected pics, articals & what ever else they may find worthy in their country, to share with someone in another country, or someone just down the street. I concider this to being an exellent tool for people who are home bound or doesn't ingadge in social actvities for whatever reason(like-me), This is a way of making friends, or just connecting with others around the world, with like inerests & all, within the safety of your world...So try it out! You won't be disappointed.

Even for pests such as cockroaches or mosquitos, Buddhists will make the effort to deter rather than kill 'vermin'. In some Buddhist traditions such as the Mahayana, Buddhists will be vegetarian because they see eating meat as encouraging the slaughter of animals. However in the Theravada and Vajrayana traditions a distinction is made between killing animals and eating them. Thus for the latter eating meat is acceptable as long as one has not personally caused the death of the animal concerned. Furthermore, given the opportunity, Buddhists like to practise the release of condemned animals by buying back live fish or birds from the abattoir to release to safety in the wild.
